Now Playing: Accounting+ (PSVR)

Accounting+ is one I’ve been hoping would come to PSVR for a long time. This is an incredibly surreal comedy that was made by the creator of The Stanley Parable (which I guess I really better get around to playing now) and Justin Roiland of Rick & Morty.

This guy…

It is a game that makes no real sense, plot-wise. You play as an accountant who is asked to test a new virtual accounting program, which apparently goes wrong and sends you on a twisted journey to a series of incredibly bizarre virtual worlds within other virtual worlds.

Hey, kid! I’m a computer! Stop all the downloading!

Interactivity is minimal and simple, you’re mainly just here for the virtual ride as you see many nutty situations unfold before your eyes. The whole thing only takes maybe 30-45 minutes, but you will at least be laughing and wtf-ing the whole time. You may get a little extra time out of it if you replay it to look for the two secret rooms, at least one of which is absolutely worth finding.

Can you find the secret Satan room?

It’s really more of an “experience” than a game, but at least it’s got a low, experience-level price to match. It’s surely not something that everyone would enjoy, but if you’re into weird Rick & Morty kind of comedy, this is right up that alley. That’s about all there is to say about it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
